MANPLOW was originally conceived on a cold winter day in Kalamazoo, Michigan in the mid 1980s. A particularly large snow fall trapped my truck 150 feet from the main road. Without a snow shovel and only an hour to get to the Western Michigan University campus (about 30 minutes away), I crudely fastened parts from available material and the first MANPLOW snow shovel was born. The snow was cleared without a minute to spare.

The next snow fall brought additional enhancements and by the end of the snow season, I was clearing the drive quickly and easily. The concept was forgotten after several years in sunny Southern California but was revived after 3 record breaking winters in Colorado.

MANPLOW is now based in the Sierra Nevada foothills just down the road from Lake Tahoe, California. We’ve incorporated under the name CynMarc Manufacturing, Inc. and have developed several patents. While we’ve branched out beyond snow removal, we are and will always be fully committed to the safer, more efficient completion of everyday tasks.

Innovation By Design:
MANPLOW’s Replacement Blade Program- Innovation by Design! MANPLOW handles are compatible with all MANPLOW blades. Take advantage of MANPLOW’s Replacement Blades to get exactly what you need. Go wider. Go narrower. Move between product lines and get exactly what you need. Replacement blades are a fraction of the price of a complete unit so get exactly what you need, even if you didn’t get it the first time. What does this mean? This means that if you buy a 44 inch Revolution you can replace it with a Revolution 36 replacement blade. It also means you can buy a 24 inch Multi-Tool and replace the blade with a 42 inch PRO replacement blade; or any other blade manufactured by MANPLOW. The Fine Print- Blades designed for “U” shaped handles are not compatible with Pistol-Push Handles, nor vise versa. Stay within your handle type and all MANPLOW blades are compatible.

MANPLOW PRO’s strong, lightweight, snow shovel blade is capable of moving loads greater than 300 pounds. They are corrosive resistant and can be angled right or left without any time consuming adjustments. Just angle the blade while walking and your MANPLOW will slide the snow in either direction. Now sized to standard sidewalk widths.

MANPLOW PRO’s Anti-Shock Comfort Grip will eliminate vibration and prevent uncomfortable contact with the cold steel handle. The Comfort Grip is UV resistant, waterproof and will hold up season after season. The Comfort Grip is only available with the PRO Line.

MANPLOW's are made with quality components to provide years of service.

Revolution Blades are designed so that when you wear it down, you can rotate the blade, top to bottom, and get twice the useful life out of your MANPLOW. MANPLOW’s have the reputation for being extremely long lasting and durable AND now they will last TWICE as long! The Revolution 36 and Revolution 44 feature a U shaped handle for durability and ease of use. The Revolution Blade is designed to slice cleanly into deep snow. Its tall blade allows you to redistribute more snow and get the job done faster. The ballistic rated polyethylene blade is excellent for scraping to give the job a clean finish. MANPLOW's utilize your body’s strongest muscles to do the work. Your leg and abdominal muscles generate the power. There is no lifting, so there is no strain on your back.

MANPLOW is proud to introduce the first snow shovel that allows the user the ideal combination of ergonomics and functionality to maximize performance and minimize fatigue. Check out our Revolution and Multi-Tool’s with the Pistol-Push Handle.

The Multi-Tool Line utilizes a Straight-Line design: the handle, handle connector and blade are all in-line. This design transfers the most power from you to the blades edge and allows you to do more with less energy spent. This design also makes the Multi-Tool more durable. With all the major components in-line, there are fewer places where the Multi-Tool can fail.

Multi-Tool's U Shaped models are capable of chopping, scraping and pushing snow and ice. The Multi-Tool’s blade is designed to slice cleanly into deep snow. Its tall blade allows you to redistribute more snow and get the job done faster. The heavy duty polyethylene blade is excellent for scraping to give the job a clean finish. The aluminum “U” shaped handle is lightweight and durable.

MANPLOW's utilize your body’s strongest muscles to do the work. Your leg and abdominal muscles generate the power while the MANPLOW’s EZ Glide Edge transfers all that power to the business of pushing snow. There is no lifting, so there is no strain on your back.
